The Metallic Fighter is a custom robot made by Eiichiro Morinaga, the Father of ROBO-ONE, for ROBO-ONE competitions. It debuted in 2002 at the world?s first ROBO-ONE competition and has gone on to compete and win in many other ROBO-ONE contests as well as RoboCup Soccer tournaments.

The Metallic Fighter is 1?3 inches tall (40cm) and weighs 5 and a half pounds (2.5kg). It is programmed using a custom made operating system that is designed specifically for the Metallic Fighter.

The Metallic Fighter is so successful in ROBO-ONE tournaments that it is one of the two robots (Vs. Dynamizer) featured to participate in the 2010 ROBO-ONE battle in outer space.

Eiichiro Morinaga is designing a new Metallic Fighter v.2 for debut in 2006 that will likely be a true force to be reckoned with in future ROBO-ONE competitions.
