The "Robot Kitchen" restaurant in Hong Kong has employed three robots to welcome guests, take orders from them, and say goodbye when they leave. This is the first restaurant in Hong Kong to employ customer service robots in this capacity and according to an article in the HK Commercial Daily, business has grown between 20 and 30 percent over the past two weeks. At a cost of roughly $12,870 for all three robots this seems like a profitable investment, maybe it will catch on. Source - China Daily |
